*QUALIFIED FOR PONY FINALS 2019*
"Winnie" is a large-bodied, light bay, 2005 American Sport Pony mare that took her rider from the Children's Pony to the Large Pony Hunter Division in a matter of few weeks. She packed her relatively inexperienced rider bravely around the Walnut Ring at Pony Finals in 2017, and again in 2018 right to placing 12th out of 193 riders in the USEF Pony Medal. Winnie always gets a top ribbon in the hack with elegance and has a bright and eager way of going over fences. She has a dressage background, a comfortable and correct jump, an auto change, is handy, and incredibly honest at her job! She will march into any given ring on any given day, both indoors and out, including grass derby fields. She clips, ships, is barefoot and is a 100% sound. Winnie is always on-task and marches easily to the 3' jumps, but as she is a naturally forward-going pony, she is not suited for beginners. Her forte is that she is brave and extremely honest, and she has taken her rider to some wonderful experiences--including the top scores in both rounds to win the Marshall & Sterling 2018 Children's Large Pony Medal Finals!
