Marvin is a wonderful 5 year old hunter with a huge slow step. He has an over-grown pony personality. He loves kids, and will slow down for small kid riders.
While he was being trained for the show ring, he was ridden by a range of different riders. He has repeatedly proven he always goes to the jump even if ridden imperfectly.
Marv is brave and doesn't care about anything. He is the same horse on windy days, away at horse shows, or at home. He doesn't care about the look of a fence or water trays if you cross him over into the jumpers. His personality is hard to find. On top of this, he looks to have a lot of scope and his jump feels like you have air-ride when you take off and land.
Marv was the winner of the $2,500 2'9 hunter special at the 2024 Royal Manitoba Winter Fair.
