Today we launch the brand new design for Bigeq.com! We hope you'll like it! We've kept all the features you love, but freshened our look to make your buying and selling experiences that much more pleasant and simple.

It's always a change when we do a redesign, so here are some important notes about the new design which will help you adjust:

- Sellers, please note that we've moved to a "square" format for our thumbnails. Please login to your account and edit your ad(s). You will now be able to select how you want your thumbnails cropped. Right now there are quite a few headless horses and we'll begin cropping from our end, but if you have a moment and can fix your own photo, that would be great.

- Buyers, we've been listening to you, and many of you requested a "favorite" button to keep track of horses you're interested in inquiring on... and now it's there - making your shopping experience just a little easier and more organized.

- We do lots of beta testing and troubleshooting, but little bugs sometimes slip through - so if you see an issue with anything on the website, please contact us and let us know and we'll get it taken care of quickly.

After nearly sixteen years in the business, we're thrilled about this latest design and hope you'll continue to enjoy using our website to buy and sell your beautiful hunter/jumper and equitation horses and ponies.

We're excited to share that USEF Judge and writer Kim Ablon Whitney has just released another novel based around hunter/jumper horse showing, called "Blue Ribbons". Following her successful equitation-themed book, "The Perfect Distance", Ablon Whitney has turned her attention to the pony rings in her latest novel as she follows the adventures of Regan Sternlicht and her pony Woodland's Tried and True.

In the meantime, for those who celebrate Christmas, we had some fun developing a little craft using old horse show ribbons this week- using the rosettes to make ornaments. If you're the crafty type, or just feel guilty throwing away those hard-earned ribbons, try repurposing them as ornaments! We has a blast making them and it's very easy - just thought we'd share. :)

Hello,

we've made some minor adjustments to our ad offerings:

1) Based on user feedback, our Basic ads have been reintegrated into the search results, so all listings are shown in the search results chronologically based on the date the ad was listed.

2) Premium ads have a new section at the top of our subpages - as you can see above. This will give Premium ads even more exposure! We have, however, discovered many users abusing the system by recycling their premium ads with different horses. Like everyone else, we've got to make a living - so Premium ads will now expire after 9 months. All existing Premium ads placed prior to today have had 9 months added to their run time, and will expire at that time.
