"Waffle" is a been there, done that, show you the ropes kind of horse. We've had him for just under 3 years now and he's done everything from walk trot with his beginner owner to the 1.0 jumpers to Equitation finals. He is a no spook, no fuss kind of guy. Same horse every day of the year--after weeks off, on 90 degree days and on 10 degree days. No prep at horse shows. Jumps anything in front of him. Safe enough for anyone on the flat--owned by a beginner adult rider in her 60s. He can get strong over fences, so not for beginners or riders with electric legs! Sadly only for sale due to owner's health. I desperately wish I had someone appropriate for him in the barn! His grumpy attitude is endearing and he's a barn favorite for sure. Would do really well showing someone the ropes in the jumper ring. Would also excel in a flat-only/dressage home. Still a lot of life left in this guy! Maintenance only includes joint supplement and hock injections annually.
