Quartz is coming from a strong line having Arkansas former member of the Hanoverian State Stud “Prussian” Quadrille, he also competed with great success in jumping and eventing and also Quidam de Revel & Cassini I.
Quidam was himself a jumping star, a member of the French Olympic Team, and fourth individually at the Barcelona Olympic Games with Hervé Godignon.
And Cassini I is one of the best Sporthorse producers. Cassini I is one of the most successful Holstein stallions of all time, sired by Capitol I out of the mare Wisma who is a daughter of Caletto II, As a sire Cassini I has bred many outstanding progeny, notable offspring includes Eurocommerce Berlin, Cumano, Cheers Cassino and many many others.
