8-year-old mare bred at a small program in the US.

Bug is small but mighty. She has short legs for her frame but great bone, and she rides like a larger horse with a rolling canter. She is a late bloomer because she was in a broodmare herd for a while and not anyone's priority after that (including currently!). Because of this her body has minimal wear and tear. Bug has been in consistent training for a year but needs show experience.

This mare really needs to meet her person. She has a strong work ethic. She is the same horse under saddle most days. She is protective in her stall and needs a caregiver who can be patient with a mare-ish mare and ignore the attitude. Her dirtiest trick is that she tries to back off the leg when she meets many new riders. She loves children and a kind, soft ride.

Bug deserves someone to prioritize her. I see her with a young professional with time for a project and a lower WB budget, or with a good-riding junior. Her ego is still fragile over fences so she will need a confident rider to move up.
