This mare is a legit grand prix prospect. She was imported from VDL Stud as a 3 year old, and has low mileage but exceptional talent! Here is her story:
I imported Jazelly as a 3 year old in foal. Upon her arrival she was started with ground work and lunging, and then was given time off to raise her foal. She started actual training under saddle at 4.5 years of age, and has never showed a bad bone or ill will! She was the easiest horse to start, and progressed quickly in her training. After going under saddle for ~6 months, her rider/trainer then became pregnant and had a baby, so Jazelly had another round of down time in her training. Finally, at the age of 6, she was back in a training program, and then Covid shut down all of the horse shows! Needless to say, her limited showing experience is no fault of her own. At the few shows she's been to, she has been extremely brave, jumps extra careful, and easy to adjust. She never needs anything extra, and jumps around at home and at shows in a hackamore with no martingale. Currently, she is effortlessly jumping 1.10 at shows, and is ready to move up to 1.15/1.20.
The jump height is not an issue for this horse. She's trusting, forgiving, extremely adjustable and agile, and will jump from anywhere. Her great personality and demeanor will make her an ideal prospect for both a junior/AO, or a professional looking for their next grand prix horse to bring to the top.
The only reason Jazelly is being put up for sale is because I'm more passionate about starting babies, and I have 3 young ones that I need to invest more TLC and time into. Jazelly is very special to me, and an amazing home will be an absolute requirement. Her price is firm.
