Erkina Metro

Notes

We are fourth generation breeders of Irish Sport Horses, based in Co. Laois Ireland. The famous Erkina Master latterly known as Lismakin was breed at our stables. He went from Ireland to America and came back to Ireland again to the Irish Army Equatation School. He was part of the Irish Nations Cup team and was ridden by Captain John Ledingham.
We are now delighted to bring to the market Erkina Metro. He is a very good-natured, talented 5 year old bay gelding by Metropole. Currently, he is jumping 1.25M (4.1ft). He took part in the final of the 5 year old 1:25M in Balmoral and in the Ruby 5 year old 1:20M in Milstreet Co. Cork. Both international shows.
Sire Metropole is by Lebro H, and Voltare is on the Dam side. Both 1:60M showjumpers. The Dam is by Coevers Diamond Boy (1:60M) going back to the famous King of Diamonds, the foundation blood lines of the Irish Sport Horse.
He has shown great progress for a 5 year old to date. He is a fine example of natural athletic ability, intelligents, and great scope. He also has a fantastic temperament with no vices, making him a pleasure to work with. He also has a clean set of X-Rays. He has the jump and the ability to ride against the clock. He is one to watch for the future.
