"Pito" is every kid's dream pony. This grandson of Popeye K is game for anything! He has been to Pony finals in the large greens, as well as the larges and pony derbys under the lights. Every time he has been in the division, he has come out champion or reserve. He also has cantered around some jumper classes for fun. Pito adores trail rides by himself or in groups. Loves galloping in big open fields and jumping cross-country jumps. Pito gets right down the lines, however, he is just as happy doing the double add for you. If you put a jump in front of him, he will jump it. As forgiving as they come. We have had him for 4 years and he has never stopped once. He truly loves jumping! Never needs to see the jumps or the show ring. Auto lead change. He has a background in dressage as well. Pito goes in a loose ring snaffle without a noseband at home and is just as happy going for a bareback ride in a halter. He showed in the larges 3 weeks ago after not showing for 7 months and was champion, winning everything including the pony medal. Pito has no spook, buck, bolt, or rear. He loads himself onto the trailer, ground ties for clipping, and stands like the perfect gentleman he is for the farrier. If we could afford to keep him in the barn forever, we would without a doubt. Everyone that meets Pito falls in love with him. He truly is the pony parents and trainers want children to learn on. He is best suited for the walk/trot up to children's ponies.
