Country Grammar “Nelly” is the perfect 2’6”-3’ horse for someone who wants a brave, competitive horse on a budget. She has shown extensively all over the Carolina’s in the 2’6”-3’ hunters and equitation. In addition to many champions and reserves in the 2’6” and 3’ hunters, she won the PSJ 2’6” derby final 2021, helped her owner to 7th place finishes in both the 2022 and 2023 PSJ medal final, was reserve in the NCHJA Children’s medal final 2023, and 4th in the Palmetto medal final 2023. Nelly is brave to the jumps, has an auto lead change, and is broke on the flat. She is quiet without being lazy and does not need much prep at horse shows. She’s a great teacher and helped her rider go from the medium ponies to the 3’ in just over a year. She is quite athletic so she is not suitable for a timid rider, but she could do a more confident 2’ rider in a program.
