Looking for your next champion? Brigadier TSH ("Riggs") is a superstar in the making. This pretty, 17.1 hh gelding has all the chrome you could ask for and the scope to do great things. While his current owner prefers the hunter divisions, this horse could easily switch into the Jumpers, and also has good potential as an Equitation horse based on his smooth and fluid gait.

Riggs was started by an amateur as a three-year old, demonstrating a calm temperament and a willingness to learn. As a four year old, he moved to a professional program in Calgary, where he has been consistently ridden by amateurs and experienced coaches to further develop his talent. He officially started his show career as a five year old, but has already made an impression. He went to the Seaside Equestrian Tour in Del Mar, California where he was Reserve Champion in the Baby Green Hunters and won the PCHA 2'9 horsemanship class. In the PCHA, he was competing against horses that had significant show experience, and he still pulled out a win. He has also shown at Spruce Meadows in the 0.7 jumpers, and at Rocky Mountain Show Jumping (RMSJ) in the Baby Green Hunters, where he was Champion. In 2025, he is first-year Pregreen eligible and will easily move into the 3'0s.

Riggs also has some impeccable breeding. His Sire, Bandalero JSF is a true 3 ring horse, off of the Banderas line (Balou du Rouet/Columbus). His Dam, Shakira (Silvio 1/Zeus), successfully competed up to 1.35m with Richard Spooner and has produced multiple impressive offspring. As you'll notice from his photos, Riggs is an overachiever and will easily excel in the higher divisions in the years to come, just like his parents!
