Sweet, Sound, Seasoned and STUNNING packer ready for his next job!
Need a top of the line 3'3 Junior Hunter with endless stride & scope? This guy is QUALIFIED for Junior Hunter Finals 2025, and got great ribbons on his last two trips there.
Need a fun derby horse? This guy has pulled prizes with his teen rider in the same class with the top pros in the world!
Need an unbeatable children's or adult hunter DELUXE? Check his record.
A saintly mount for your "weekend warrior" show clients? Been there done that too.
A solid citizen to help your low children's/adults riders to snag some easy ribbons, and climb their way up the ranks without ever having to change horses? This guy took a sm/med children's PONY rider from the low Childs, to the Childs, and straight to the winners circle at finals moving up one hole a year!
This horse is the real deal and THE ASK DOESN'T MATTER - he is the same horse regardless of the job or the height and he's competitive in any class of riders/horses. More importantly he's always happy to do whatever you ask of him, and more than capable of doing it all and the judges can NOT resist rewarding him.
Stall to ring for a point-and-shoot ride. He's got a rhythmic steady canter and never needs to go fast. He can go on a loopy hunter rein, or frame right up. Lead changes are automatic, counter canter is well trained, and you need only ask if the course requires adjusting for more quiet or forward lines, the flatwork is all in there already, and as far as the jumps go, nothing phases him, he doesn't peek and he always goes (and with the littles he's also happy to pat the ground if it keeps them safer). This horse in a word is MADE.
"Quincy" has a proven winner's record at 2'6, 3 foot and 3'3. The judges are always captivated by his stunning good looks, gorgeous movement, terrific jumps, and his honest and easy going demeanor. He is always at the top of the hack (including multiple finals and indoors), wins plenty over fences and is generally an uncomplicated, dependable and fun partner whatever the ask with numerous ribbons and championships everywhere from the Virginia A Circuit, at WEC, at indoors or anywhere you want to take him.
He is a leg-to-hand ride that excels at teaching riders to develop connection, and once they get him in gear he's happy to stay there and carry them through. In short: this horse genuinely loves to show, always does his job, and as a bonus, he's full of personality and is always happy to join you for a snuggle. Grooms and trainers will love him in the barn, and any child rider's parent or adult rider's significant other will thank you for finding him and keeping their person safe and happy.
Quincy requires the typical maintenance of an experienced show horse, zero prep and no particular setting to thrive/perform - warm or cold, indoors or out, familiar venue or brand new place, it makes no difference at all to him, he will perform at his best every time. And since he has had a VERY cushy life prior to his most recent campaigns, you can get the rarest of combinations with him - the maturity of a "seasoned pro" with PLENTY of tread left on his tires to invest in and/or enjoy for many years to come. Maintenance & veterinary records can be provided upon request.
Quincy is available now, while he lasts, as his rider turns her sights on college. He can be tried HERE in Virginia by professional appointment only. Six figures to own, sale strongly preferred, to the very best homes only.
