Here is your opportunity to lease the top Small Pony Hunter in the Nation (as of 4/4/26). Whale of a Tale ("Boden") is a jet black 2018, imported Welsh, gelding. 12.2h and the crowd and judge's favorite everywhere he goes, resulting in an impressive show record. Boden carries a beautiful expression, is brave and scopey over fences, walks the lines, has a great lead change, correct conformation and clean legs, and is an excellent mover. Boden wins it all - the model, hack, conformation, handy, classic, medals, and is always at the top of the pinning in the derby. Beyond the ring, this pony is always kind with excellent manners and loves to show and live on the road. Minimal to no prep and never needs to see the ring. Barefoot and no maintenance. Boden is qualified for Pony Finals 2026, the USHJA Hunter Derby Championship (East Coast and West Coast), and has all the points needed to qualify for Devon and indoors (timely entered at Devon). This pony will be available only to a top program with a rider capable of continuing his success in the Pony Hunters.
