Sven is a standout — truly stunning and the fanciest type with beautiful expression. A true hack winner with a jump to match. Imported as a dressage horse, we have spent the last two years thoughtfully transitioning his career into the hunter ring.

Sven only started showing a little over a year ago and already successfully debuted in the 3’ Greens at the end of the January Florida circuit. With his quality, presence, and natural ability, he could easily develop into a winning International Hunter Derby horse.

His gaits are powerful yet quiet. He is responsive to your leg — riders with quieter legs often ride him in spurs — and he is very tolerant of rider mistakes, always taking you to the other side.

He is barefoot, goes out well with other horses, and has a wonderful sense of curiosity about the world around him. Sven has a huge personality and everyone in the barn loves him.

In many ways, he is like a little boy who truly wants to do the right thing. He tries very hard, loves having a job, and is very proud of himself.

He would thrive with a trusting rider and would be successful in any professional program that appreciates a horse with personality and presence.
