Located near Tampa, FL. He is available to be seen at CFHJA in Tampa in December, and later at World Equestrian Center mid-December. He can also be tried at his barn near Tampa FL.

Southbound is an easygoing gentleman and a great partner in the show ring. He is very forgiving and quiet. He has been shown with a focus in the jumpers over the past year, and has also shown in the eq, hunters and hunter derbies. He took his most recent lease rider from 2' - 0.85 / 2'9 over two years.

Southbound received a top-ten placing in the 0.85 finals at Southeast Medal Finals. In March, he was circuit Reserve Champion at 0.85 during the 2025 Terranova Equestrian Center /Split Rock show series, showing only 3 out of the 5 weeks of the circuit.

He has shown successfully at a number of venues, from the indoors at WEC, Wellington/ESP, Terranova, to the Rolex Grand Prix field at Kentucky Horse Park. He is happy to trail ride alone or in a group. For fun outside the ring, he is game to go on a hunter pace or cross country school.

He needs minimal prep at shows, gets along well with other horses in turn out, requires standard joint maintenance and is an easy keeper. Easily loads, clips, etc and gentle to handle on the ground. He is up to date on maintenance injections as of November 2025.
