2010 16.3 hand TB Gelding - Hunter
Videos
Notes
Located near Tampa, FL. His owner is motivated to find Southbound a great show home.
Southbound, an unraced TB, is an easygoing gentleman and a great partner in the show ring. He has been shown in the hunters, jumpers and equitation. He took a recent lease rider from 2' - 0.85 / 2'9 over two years. He is capable to 2’9 /.85 and can return to that height although his current rider is showing at 2’6. With a mellow and kind temperament and plenty of show ring experience, he is ideal for an ammy or a child rider moving up from a pony.
He has shown successfully at a number of rated show venues, from the indoors at WEC, Wellington/ESP, Terranova, to the Rolex Grand Prix field at Kentucky Horse Park.
He needs only minimal prep at shows, gets along well with other horses in turn out or will turn out alone, requires standard maintenance and is an easy keeper. Easily loads, clips, etc and he is gentle for a young rider to handle on the ground. He trail rides calmly alone and with others.
More videos available on request! A paid lease may be considered to an approved show program in Florida.
He will be at Terranova the week of February 18.
