Secretly – The Best Kept Secret Won’t Be a Secret Much Longer

Secretly is a 2010, 14.1hh flea-bitten grey Welsh Cross mare who has spent the last several years teaching two sisters not only how to ride, but how to love the sport. As they move on to a breed-specific discipline, we’re looking for the next person to appreciate everything that makes her so special.

Dependable, honest, and wonderfully uncomplicated, she’s the kind you unload at a show, tighten the girth, and head straight to the ring. No prep. No drama.
She’ll happily trot a crossrail course, step into a 2’6” derby, or enjoy a day riding the trails. With beautiful auto lead changes, an honest jump, and the kind of sensible brain everyone wishes they could buy, Secretly is equally at home in the show ring, on the hunt field, or hacking through the woods around dogs, children, tractors, and whatever else the day brings.

In the barn, she’s every bit as easy. No vices, a clean stall, quiet manners, and a favorite of the farrier, veterinarian, braider, and body clipper.

While she has all the talent to continue a very successful show career, we’d especially love to see her become the partner for a petite adult amateur or family looking for a horse to enjoy for years to come as well. She’s old enough to know her job, young enough to keep enjoying it, and the kind that makes riding fun instead of stressful.
