8-year-old Dutch Warmblood Gelding

Maddox is truly one of the sweetest horses you’ll meet. He was imported from Europe as a 4-year-old and started in dressage, where he showed successfully through First Level. He has a wonderful foundation, excellent manners, and that puppy-dog personality everyone hopes for.

When I bought him, my goal was to bring him into the hunter/jumper/eq world, and he’s taken to it with so much confidence. He’s brave, honest, and always tries—he’s never said no to a fence and always marches right up to anything new. He’s free-jumped up to 1.0m and is currently schooling around 2’–2’3” with plenty of scope to keep going. With his good brain, solid flatwork, and natural ability, he’s the kind of horse who just needs the right person to bring out his full potential.

He’s in regular training and will continue until sold.

To be upfront—Maddox does have a little quirk. It’s not medical (he’s been fully vetted multiple times and is completely sound), and I’m happy to explain it to anyone seriously interested. His price reflects this, and I’m open to reasonable offers.
