Jokes on you aka “Leo” is a big bodied gelding looking for his next partner. He has extensive miles and wins in all 3 rings. The past 4 months he has been in professional training on the west coast. Over there he was jumping around 1.20 and perfecting his skills. We learned that he LOVES a challenge, he wants the tricky courses and big jumps. Therefore he’d be best in a 3’3+ eq/jumper home. This year he was shown in the 1.10-1.15 jrs with a 16 year old who can’t see a distance. Leo has been the dream teammate, he’s earned many year end awards (including HOTY) in all 3 rings. He has great advanced flatwork complete with the best breaks. He will jump long or short and is VERY forgiving of mistakes! Leo is very brave with no stop or bolt, however he needs a rider who will tell him what to do in the show ring. He is super friendly, the mean chestnut stereotype isn’t him at all. Leo has the funniest personality that’s guaranteed to make you laugh. Little to no prep at shows, if it’s a cold day he may need a lunge that’s all. He has excellent ground manners, clips, will stand tied for hours, and trailers perfectly. Never the problem in the barn, doesn’t paw or crib, just sleeps! For fun leo likes to go on trail rides, be ridden in a halter/bridle less, and learn tricks! This is a very special horse so a lease would be preferred, but sale would be considered to the right home.
