Dauntless “Dwyer” — 2019 Registered Hanoverian Gelding

Dwyer is a stunning 2019 registered Hanoverian gelding with beautiful movement, a wonderful brain, and the kindest, most likable personality. A barn favorite everywhere he goes, he is sweet, sensible, uncomplicated, and takes new experiences completely in stride.

This is a horse who can pack someone around at home, walk onto the trailer, head to a horse show, and get right down to business. He is forgiving, genuine, and incredibly pleasant to have in the barn — the type you look forward to riding every day.

Dwyer began his career in the jumper ring, successfully developing from 0.60m through 1.0m. While perfectly capable of the job, it became clear that his natural rhythm, beautiful way of going, and easygoing personality were much better suited to the hunter ring — and he absolutely loves hunter land.

With his lovely movement, attractive jump, great expression, and naturally steady way of going, we think Dwyer has all the ingredients to develop into a very special hunter. He would be an exciting horse for someone looking for a quality young prospect to bring along through the divisions, without sacrificing rideability or temperament.

He is the rare combination of quality enough to be competitive, sensible enough to be enjoyable, and kind enough to make you fall in love with him.

Dwyer would be best suited to an intermediate or advanced junior or amateur working within a program to continue his development and help him reach his full potential.
