Cold As Ice J is a strikingly beautiful horse who truly lives up to his name. He was previously an approved stallion and was gelded earlier this year to fully focus on a sport career. This decision is reflected in his attitude and rideability. He jumps with a lot of quality, is very well mannered and pleasant to ride.

In addition to being a quality jumper, we also see clear hunter potential in Cold As Ice J. He has sufficient canter quality, a very consistent jumping style and an excellent front leg technique with a correct and active hind leg. He jumps almost always in the same reliable way and shows a natural carefulness. His temperament is calm and cooperative, with a very good mentality.

Although he has so far competed up to 1.15m, he has received a solid education and is ready for further development in the sport. Thanks to his rideability and character, he is suitable for amateurs as well as professional riders. Especially in the hunter discipline, he will certainly stand out. This is a horse with which someone can truly steal the show.

Sire Cornado I (Cornet Obolensky x Acobata) competed at 1.65m level with top placings at CSI5* events such as Olympia London and ’s-Hertogenbosch. As a sire, he produced several international showjumpers up to 1.65m, including Cool Feeling, Cordynox and Narumol B.

Dam Cracker Jane (Coronino x Louise J) is an exceptional broodmare who produced a remarkable number of international sport horses and approved stallions, including Fire and Ice J (1.60m, approved Hann/ZfdP), Eminem J(1.45m, approved Westf), Dracon (1.45m, approved Hann), Westfalia L (1.45m), Pilo­thago’s Wundertüte (1.40m) and Knoepfchen (1.35m).

Second dam Louise J (Lados x Waldessa J) produced international showjumpers such as Cover (1.40m CSI3*), Coco Chanel 162 (1.40m) and Cornflakes J (1.40m), confirming the depth of this family.

Third dam Waldessa J (Wunderlich) produced horses including Hopkins 19 (1.45m), Furima J (1.35m) and La Reine(1.45m CSI).

Fourth dam Fontaene (Fontanus xx) is the foundation of this strong Westphalian performance line, known for producing sport horses and approved stallions over multiple generations.
