Clifton is a 2014 Trakehner, standing 16.2h. He has lots of show experience, top-placing hack movement—even in tough company at venues like HITS Saugerties—and has a gorgeous jump.

Cliffy has plenty of mileage in the Low Adult Hunters (2’6”), qualifying for USHJA Hunter Finals in 2025, and winning the American Trakehner Association Horse of the Year 2’6” USHJA Championship.

He successfully moved up to 2’9” in 2025, winning multiple championships & earning 3rd in the USHJA 2025 Zone 2 Horse of the Year Awards.

He is jumping 3' at home and has competed at the 3' at our local schooling shows, preparing to debut in the 3’ Green Hunters for 2026.

Cliffy is happy in the hunters, and is handy enough for the inside turn in the equitation ring. He has easy lead changes and the stride and scope to get down the lines. He is a gentleman on the ground—great for vet and farrier & loads and clips easily. He is happy to go out alone or in company, and happy on a trail. His price reflects that he is a mild cribber, controlled fully with the cribbing collar.

Cliffy would make a phenomenal partner for a junior or amateur in a program that wants to clock around the 2'6" or 2'9" and he is proving his ability to do the same at the 3 foot.

He is offered for sale due to owner’s pregnancy & subsequent postpartum injury which is preventing her from riding.
