If you’re looking for a horse that has plenty of show mileage at the 2’6” and is ready to make their debut in the 3’ Greens, this one checks every box.

Clifton is a 2014 Trakehner, standing 16.2h. He’s successfully transitioned from Eventing to the Hunter/Equitation ring. He has lots of show experience (both professional, junior and adult amateur), top-placing hack movement—even in tough company at venues like HITS Hudson Valley—and has a stellar jump.

Experience: Mileage in the Low Adult Hunters (2’6”), qualified for Hunter Finals 2025, and won the American Trakehner Association 2’6” National Championship.

Moving up: Successfully debuted at 2’9” this year, earning multiple championships. Ready for a seamless move into the 3’ Green Hunters with his next partner.

Versatility: Handy, balanced, and confident—equally happy in the hunters or equitation. He has lead changes and the stride and scope to get down the lines.

Personality: He does his best in a full program at home and requires normal horse show prep; settles quickly in the ring.

Manners: He is a gentleman on the ground—great for vet and farrier, loads easily, and loves his time outside. Happy to go out alone or in company, and happy on a trail.
