Chaplin (Charlie) is a stunning prospect for the hunter or equitation rings and is a sweet and fancy guy. This puppy-dog, goofy type personality of a horse has been so easy to handle and start. He is everything you could hope for in a young horse; trainable, flashy, good attitude, and suitable for a junior or amateur to take the reins.
Charlie has been carefully brought along. He has a solid foundation, focused on slowly developing both his mind and his body. He has been in a program since he was purchased as a weanling. He is good on the ground, clips, bathes, and good in the trailer.
Charlie has a great brain and a no nonsense kind of ride. He is safe and wants to get it right. He has been one of my easiest starts and I definitely feel a confident junior or amateur, in a program, could easy continue his education and training (not the kind of horse that needs pro-rides). This horse has a solid try-attitude with the kindest demeaner.
Charlie has just started his over fences training and seems to really love the challenge and truly seems to enjoy jumping (he runs himself through the jump shoot, just for fun). I have also seen easy changes in the field, and I don't think those will be too hard for him to master under saddle.
All the pieces are there and he is ready to start showing them off.
Clean baseline x-rays taken last October.
