Billy Be Great

Notes

Billy Be Great, 2016 16.2hh bay gelding (Billy Cointreau x Kannan)
"Billy" is a darling 3-ring horse who has been successfully competing in the AO hunters and derbies with his amateur rider. Recently, he won the $10k USHJA National Hunter derby at HITS Del Mar, along with multiple other top A/O and derby placings this year.

Prior to being imported, Billy competed in the 7- and 8-year old divisions in Europe, including the spooky rings at Hickstead. He is unbelievably brave and honest; he will genuinely jump from any distance, and jumps the same whether it's a plain vertical or the spookiest fill. Because of this, he excels in derbies, although he would be great for any ring. His rhythmic, rocking-horse canter, and large but adjustable stride makes it easy to see the distance from 8 strides away.

Billy is a kick ride and has a huge, in-your-pocket personality, saying hello to any people or animals in his vicinity. He will be at week 2 of Sunshine and both weeks of Holiday at DIHP in Thermal
