Kongo is only ten years old, yet he already boasts an impressive record. This talented gelding has confidently competed up to 1.50m level, and height is clearly no obstacle for him: he has even claimed victory in a six bars competition. His willingness, attitude and reliability also make him highly suitable for an ambitious amateur rider. With his big canter and abundant scope, Kongo is unmistakably a horse made for the main ring.

His sire, Extase, jumped at 1.50m level with Charlie Jacobs. Extase is a son of the renowned stallion Casall and comes from the dam line that produced horses such as Oklund and Plot Blue.

The dam, Broere Utica, is a daughter of Oramé and competed at 1.45m level herself. In addition to Kongo, she produced a 1.35m showjumper. The granddam Ida, carrying the influential blood of Voltaire and Notaris, forms the foundation of this strong dam line. She produced, among others, the two 1.60m stallions Broere Maroon and Broere Newton.
