Back off lease — Rumor Mill, the 2021 South Carolina Hunter Jumper Association Hunter Derby Champion, is looking for a new career.

Following a successful show career that included being the top money earner on the SCHJA Palmetto Hunter Derby circuit in 2021, winning the 2021 SCHJA Palmetto Derby Finals, and earning the 2021 SCHJA Performance Hunter Reserve Championship, Rumor Mill, aka Clifford, is looking for a career as a field hunter.

Flashy, safe, and incredibly comfortable, with slow, smooth, ground covering gaits, Clifford is the definition of amateur friendly. He is suitable for any level of rider and any hunting flight. He is brave and confident with a polished jumping style and great form -- he truly enjoys jumping!

Clifford loves adventures outside of the arena: fox hunting, trail riding, beach riding, etc. He can hack alone or in company. He has extensive trail mileage, as well as hunting experience. His manners stand out in the hunt field, quietly standing at check or leading first flight with confidence.

Rumor Mill is an easy keeper, is very sound, and currently receives no maintenance.

He does struggle with the bugs and heat of the Low Country and would be best suited to a climate that is cooler and less buggy than Coastal Carolina.

Finding Clifford a loving forever home is of paramount importance - he is a dearly loved member of a close knit horse and pony community.
