Rubinero is highly-regarded for the temperament and character he imparts to his offspring and this colt is no exception! A staff favorite for his sweet and inquisitive nature, “Roger” also has the type and athleticism we were expecting with this combination. He has a bright future ahead of him as a competition horse and while we bred him with the dressage ring in mind, his family has plenty of jump and his future opportunities are up to you!
Sire Rubinero earned very high marks at his Stallion Test, including 10’s for character and rideability. He was a consistent competitor with top scores from Young Horse classes through the FEI ring. With his AA owner, Rubinero earned scores up to 72.5% and was the USDF Region 3 Champion at Intermediaire. Grandsire Rubinstein is one of the most influential warmblood sires in modern history. Rubinero’s dam, Faola, earned 9’s for willingness, canter, rideability, & free jumping technique and a 10.0 for free jumping ability. She has produced two licensed stallions as well as successful dressage horses and a 1.40m jumper.
The dam of this colt is the exceptionally beautiful Allegra Q who earned an overall 7.75 at her Hanoverian inspection and is the highest-scoring mare ever in the history of ISR/Oldenburg with a 121 points overall. She comes from the long-established breeding program of Suzanne Quarles and brings together the bloodlines of Akzent II, Werther, and Aktuell. Santana Hilltop (by Sternlicht) is one of the oldest Allegra offspring and as a 3-year old was 2nd in Materiale at Dressage at Devon and placed 3rd in the USDF East Coast Materiale Championship.
This charming colt is registered with the American Hanoverian Society and is microchipped. We expect he’ll mature around 16.2 hands and should be a fun, willing partner to develop in sport.
