Darling quarter pony mare with permanent medium pony card. Ruby is not just a show pony, she is part of our family our daughter is stepping up to a horse and we feel like Ruby would be happiest doing what she loves in the Hunter/eq ring! Ruby does not require much leg at all and will keep a good pace throughout her course, she has her leads, has a beautiful jump and always clears them. She competed in pony finals this year which happened to be her 3rd rated show ever (She was champion at her first rated show and reserve at her second) and she did wonderful as a green medium. She was the 2022 year end Champion for the Oklahoma Hunter Jumper association and Hunter-Jumper Exhibitors of Oklahoma. She was also 2023 Reserve Champion for both organizations. She loads, hauls, stands for the farrier well, not a mean bone in her body- never bucked, never bitten. Her favorite snack is dimples horse treats and other than indulging in these occasionally, she’s an easy keeper. She is not mareish and has never required hormones. She has incredible scope for a pony- she shows 2’6 currently, practices 2’9 at home and we have videos of her easily clearing 3’9!!! She’s an athletic girl.
