Maverick

Maverick has been showing with his junior rider owner since summer of 2023 in the 2’6” and 2’9” hunters. He is very laid back and a stick/spur ride, but not so lazy you’re constantly kicking. He is brave to the jumps and has done some derbies and equitation classes in addition to the hunters. He is generally not spooky, doesn’t go in earplugs, and requires very little prep at horse shows. He’s well broke on the flat, has 3 comfortable gaits, and he has a very easy lead change. He loves to trail ride and hack out as well. He has a big personality to match his big size and he has no vices.
He is big and young so it’s best he stay in a program but he’s happy to pack around a long stirrup rider on up. Maverick would love a home where he can get plenty of turnout (he loves going out all night with a couple friends) and will get to spend some time riding outside the arena on occasion.
