"Puff" (registered name Magic Dragon) is a Fancy, flashy, extremely sweet large pony gelding. Amazing mind, not at all spooky, will win in the show ring and go on a trail ride the next day. Loves ring work, jumping, and eager to do what is expected of him. Perfect on the ground for kids - could stand on the cross ties for hours. Every trainer's favorite after they see him in the ring!
Jumps in nice form, extremely well balanced canter that is rythmic and needs little adjusting, Big step has no problem getting down the lines. No stop, not fazed by filler, color, etc. Quality pony who will be a very successful superstar in the near future. Has a natural change and is working on changes - may have them by the time you read this.
Puff has shown summer 2024 in the xrail hunters (always in the ribbons) and schools the 2' at home, will be moving up to that division this fall. Plenty of scope for up to 2'9" eventually. Takes you to the jump, but soft mouth, easy to rate. Puff has also hunter paced, foxhunted (fine with hounds and out with groups of horses), taught beginners.
Can be tried at a variety of barns on Long Island, NY. Will consider a short paid trial to a good show home program.
