Hugo De Lui is a 12 year old 16.3h KWPN gelding out of Indoctro. He consistently places top 3 in the equitation and hunters and showed successfully in the jumpers prior to import. He excels in the hunter derbies, winning the Jr/Am National Derby Week 9 of DIHP and placing top 4 in five out of the six derbies he showed in last year. Very little prep, forgiving of mistakes and measures to the jumps on his own. He has a big stride, always jumps in great style and will jump anything you point him at, from any distance. He is a perfect gentlemen on the ground and has all the moves on the flat for the equitation and medals. Very safe (no spooking, bucking or bolting), you could put your grandmother on him to flat but needs an intermediate rider to jump 3’+ as he makes an effort at the bigger fences. Happy to go on trails. He’s a solid bombproof horse that can be relied on in any setting. Showed in International Derbies as a 7 year old and in the 3’6” A/Os.
